what to tell about this book.... one of the best.....no..no.. the best novel of hindi literature..whose significance is beyond time and space...
though I am not a literature enthusiast, read this book in 2 sitting in my 6th standard. my first novel.
story is great, language is pretty simple for which premchand is known. tells the story of a JAMINDAARI ERA farmer's problem.

Yep, a must have for someone who love to read hindi sahitya. Premchand was a genius and it reflects clearly on his work. Once you read any of his work, you will know how good he was.

These days we often hear, we have a dearth of hindi writers, but Premchand's writing would make you believe that it wasn't so once upon a time for sure.

godan is a beautiful novel by munshi premchand. the language of novel is no doubt ...the toplevel. a beautiful story of hori who lived in a remote area. now about the book- i received book 2 days earlier, it was in good condition. no torn pages no misprint no double print , it is perfect but the font size is a bit small ....but overall a fresh piece of book which is holding n old culture in it..... .. i love it

I ordered this book from flipkart and got it in 2 days, in a very well packed package. I love the fact that they put those innovative bookmarks with the books, going the extra mile for something so small.

I won't say much about the book, given the fact that it is one of the best pieces of art created and no words are enough to describe it's awesome greatness. NO WORDS.
