Clamp meters’ work is mainly composed of an electromagnetic current meter and bushing type current mutual inductor. Straight through current transformer core made of movable opening, and a clamp on ammeter, named. The utility model relates to a portable instrument which can directly measure the ac current of a circuit without disconnecting the circuit. Clamp meter is composed of a current transformer and current meter assembly. The iron core of the current transformer can be opened when the wrench is pressed, and the wire passing through the current can be cut through the opening of the iron core without cutting off. The measured circuit conductor passing through the core becomes the primary coil of the current transformer, and the current is induced in the two coils through the current. Thus, the current meter connected with the two coils can be used to indicate the current of the measured line.

Absolute rubbish!

Shows voltage without touching leads, don't purchase worst product waste of money.

Absolute rubbish!

Very bad. The meter should show 0 point while starting. This digital values fluctuates without even plugging in. Very much unsatisfied with the product. Didn't expect this from Flipkart.
