After using 19 days I am really happy with this.
Current updates received on 3rd June.
I am able to use esim facility with Jio but it has not dual standby mode.
And attached few more snaps.
I compared camera with s10e, iPhone XR, Oneplus 7pro but Google camera is better than mentioned devices.

If you are looking for best camera and battery life with pure Google experience go for it!
- XL size phone doesn't feel too big, its perfect.
- Yes with esim you can have jio/Airtel as second sim, you need to go to their store for that.
- buttons are clicky
- double click on power button open camera (unlike Samsungs)
- speaker sound is superb, feels true and crisp
- unlike on other phones Google assistant is accurate and has lot of functions
- don't wait for pixel 4 you'll need 8...

It's really great. DSLR quality photos(Image processing take few seconds though)
Performance is smooth, no lags or hangs
Battery performance is extremely good. Initially I use to get 7 hours of screen on time with heavy usage of apps and games
After an update last week, I'm getting screen usage of 8+ hours which usually lasts for 1.5+ days
The delivery of the phone was decent with proper packaging

Phone is superb in terms of camera nd all, but the colours are a little warm and cool some times. Google should give an update to resolve this. Many of the reviewers are complaining about the processor, but there is no flaw in the processor. it is top notch and opens the apps in a jiffy. Excellent product from Google, truly Camera beast. I used iPhone, though I will keep Pixel 3a XL ahead of iPhones in Camera department. Photo processing takes a bit time though, due to absence of Pixel Visual core. Google Pixel 3a XL.. What to say about a phone which has redefined what we were used to calling 'A Mid-range Phone'. Terrific purchase
It's just not right to judge every gadget by its specifications. Google pixel is one of those gadgets that have modest specs but awesome performance. Compare 2 drivers: a mediocre driver given Ferrari to drive and an experienced skillful driver given a Toyota. It's not just about the ride, but the rider. So, it's not just about hardware but the software. The camera is just 12 mp but pics are far better than 48 mp pics of popular brands. The best part is the audio quality. Superb.

A:no, if internet is on sim2, and you get a call on sim1, internet will be temporarily disconnected- same like Samsung phones,
but apparently it will be supported later this year by software update.

A:There is provision for 2 SIMs. One is e-sim and other is physical one. I have put (read: downloaded) Airtel as e-sim and kept BSNL physical sim.
