Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne  (DVD Bengali)

Directed by illustrious filmmaker Satyajit Ray and starring Harindranath Chattopadhyay, Jahar Roy, Robi Ghosh, Santosh Dutta, and Tapan Chatterjee, Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne is a Bengali fantasy adventure comedy film about a miserable singer and a horrible drummer who meet each other in a forest after being exiled from their kingdoms. In order to fend off a tiger, they start to play their respective instruments loudly which attracts the attention of the King of Ghosts who grants them three wishes for their quaint music. They then become court musicians for the King of Shundi who they try to help out with their powers in a battle against the King of Halla. Will they be successful? Or, be casted out once more for their incompetency?
