95% of the material is lifted from laxmikanth's popular book "public administration".not suitable for general studies,technical book.suitable for students who have opted public administration in the mains.no need to buy,simply go for any popular polity book.even after that if you feel to study governance then buy indian public administration by padma ramchandran (NBT),very informative & crispy handbook.

I would suggest to read this book at least once. Considering the unpredictable nature of UPSC examination I would suggest all the non public administration optional candidates to at least refer this book once. Many topics are not important from exam point of view. But few topics like 2nd ARC report,Sachar committee, Hota Commission, budget, 20th law commission, etc are present though not very detailed descriptions are given.

Book was superb in both quality and contentwise... It's very Helpful in GS PAPERII.. And book was in a very fine condition with awesome paper quality... JUST FO FOR IT..!

The book has perfect matter as you feel with the title. It describe every section of governance in very easy and effective manner especially i like content presentation in terms of governance hierarchy. There are many good books also available in the market but for me this was best because i don't have any idea of this subject but never feel any difficulty with this book.
