Returning to his hometown after a sabbatical of 5 years, Carl Johnson is immediately pulled into a vicious circle of deceit and corruption. Survival is tough, and for a wanted criminal, it is much more difficult. CJ’s only hope is to get the power back in his hands in order to save his family. The only question is can he do it in time?
Developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a big improvement over its predecessor. The minimum hardware required to easily play this game on your computer are Windows 2000, 1 Ghz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon processor, 3.6 GB of hard disk space, 256 MB RAM and 64 MB RAM equipped NVidia or ATI Radeon graphics Card
The single-player campaign of the game will take you across the fictional island of San Andreas, constituting 3 cities Los Santos, Las Venturas, and San Fierro. The story moves forward with every mission you successfully complete. The missions range from anything and everything a thug can do. From kidnapping, stealing to disarming policemen, GTA: San Andreas features a variety of missions.
There are many significant additions in GTA: San Andreas. You can now swim in a lake or a river till you get exhausted. You can demolish cars within seconds or race against the game’s AI to prove you are better than them and many more. One of the finest additions to the game is the ability to fly airplanes. From Dodo, Stunt plane to even the huge AT-400, you can fly a variety of aircrafts. It is not easy to fly an airplane as it is to drive a car, as there are many controls that need to be maintained in perfect balance, but it is a great experience to drive one on your own.
If you like to cause mayhem on the streets of San Andreas, you can do it in this game as it features a plethora of weapons. These range from Submachine guns, assault rifles such as M4 and AK-47, to heavy weapons such as Rocket Launchers and Flamethrowers. As you progress through the game, you will start controlling key areas in San Andreas, helping you to build your own gang. You have to defend these areas if trouble brews in any one of them, making the gameplay more interesting.
If you get bored from the main missions you can indulge in side missions where you can tag neighbourhoods with the use of spray paint. Different rhythm-based challenges and sport challenges like basketball and pool have also been added. You can download the updates and wallpapers for the game directly from the company’s website.
