    Description

Because of its inherent simplicity, graph theory has a wide range of applications in engineering, and in physical sciences. It has of course uses in social sciences, in linguistics and in numerous other areas. In fact, a graph can be used to represent almost any physical situation involving discrete objects and the relationship among them. Now with the solutions to engineering and other problems becoming so complex leading to larger graphs, it is virtually difficult to analyze without the use of computers.

The best book on Graphs there is

Very clear, lucid and detailed explanations of every concievable topic related to graph theory.I have not seen such great explanations of abstract concepts related to graphs in any other book, be it Cormen or Horowitz.Perfect book on graphs.

    The master book!

This is one of the very few standard books on graph theory. It also contains applications to computer science and engineering. The style does not bore us and makes us read the book with involvement.

    The Book for beginners

If you are new to Graph theory and are really interested in the subject, this book will satisfy you.. The Author takes the aid of famous paradoxes and makes the reader think about the logic behind the topic under discussion.
Though most theorems are explained, a few of them which the reader themselves can deduce have been given as excercises which is not a good thing if you are planning to read this book on the eve of exam.
As for me I am satisfied with this book.
