The Defence Research and Development Organization Scientist Entry Test (DRDO SET) is a screening process conducted by the DRDO prior to recruiting candidates for the post of scientists. It helps select those eligible for interviews from the large number of applications received. It is a three hour test and consists of two sections. The first section contains 100 questions that test the candidate’s level of knowledge in the subject he has majored in. The second section contains 50 questions and it tests the candidate’s qualitative and analytical skills as well as his general awareness and knowledge of current affairs.
