He is the Founder Managing Director of Sunshine Hospitals, a 450+ bed NABH Accredited, multispeciality hospital in Hyderabad, India. He also serves as Chairman of Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute - Sunshine Hospitals and is the Chief of Division of Joint Replacement Surgery. Dr. A. V. Gurava Reddy is one of the leading surgeons in India and performs about 4000 joint replacements per year (the second largest number in Asia). Dr. Gurava Reddy is also a popular writer and has written a weekly column in famous Telugu magazines for more than 5 years. He has also dabbled in Radio Jockeying and Acting and has made a name among his patients as a versatile, fun-loving and humorous doctor.
