Swasthi is an Ayurvedic herbal formulation in the form of tablets for all types of Piles ( Haemorrhoids ) and related symptoms. Active ingredients in Swasthi are : Kattuchena ( Amorphophallus commutatus ), Kurumulaku ( Piper nigrum ), Thippali ( Piper longum ), Chukku ( Zingiber officinale ) Ramacham ( Vetiveria zizanoides ), Muthanga ( Cyperus rostundus ), Thazhuthama ( Boerhaavia diffusa ), Koduveli ( Plumbago zeylanica) sudhi. These ingredients work as Blood purifier, increase digestive power,enhance Hb, helps to the proper function of large intestine and small intestine, reduce burning sensation, arrest bleeding and reduce swelling etc. Dietary restrictions are compulsory during the period of treatment. All types of meat, fish, egg, tubes, food item contains strong masala and food items which are very pungent and sour should be avoided from the diet. Fibre rich food including onions, tomato, ash guard etc. with milk and milk products are recommended.
