Do you want to learn how to protect yourself from others breaking into computers to steal information, and possibly money? Then The Hacker’s Underground Handbook is the book for you!
Summary of the Book
A hacker is someone who exploits the vulnerabilities in a computer, playing around with them to work better and work in ways that were never intended. Of course, hackers are also known to be shady people with dark reputations, stealing money and information. This book teaches readers where to begin, and why it’s no fun to be this darker counterpart of hackers called Black Hats. It takes an elementary approach to hacking, and explains why one would want to learn the process. It discusses the programming skills required and how to obtain them, as well as the GUI tools available to users for hacking with minimal programming skills. It gives readers an overview of the exploits that they can use to empower themselves and how these exploits can be protected so that other hackers can’t use them to intrude into their systems. The book shows readers how they can go further and explore the world of hacking to gain the skills required to be an elite hacker.
