Kabir was a 15th century mystic poet of north India who defied the boundaries between Hindu and Muslim. He had a Muslim name and upbringing, but his poetry repeatedly invokes the widely revered Hindu name for God Ram. Who is Kabirs Ram? This film journeys through song and poem into the politics of religion, and finds a myriad answers on both sides of the hostile border between India and Pakistan.

Brilliant film!

This is what spirituality is about. No boundaries. I have really enjoyed the film for its honesty, its creativity and its music. I had bought the music much earlier and it is very nice to be able to put faces to the voices and hear what they have to say beyond the song itself. The song moves beyond the singer! Kudos, Ms Virmani and The Kabir Project.

dissolving boundries

if you've ever imagined a world without line, borders, walls and limits, then this film by Shabam Virmani is for you.

in a clear, non-preachy sense, it just shakes the limits out of you, giving you an experience that remains with you.
since it's a product of the kabir festival, the quality of the content is brilliant.

the music, the artists, the overall direction and Kabir: make this a must-watch.

this film recently won a prestigious national award. :)

I purchased this DVD, watched, realized my mistake and returned it. Flipkart, obliged me, i am very thankful to them and congratulate them on their customer centric approach. 5 stars to flipkart, 0 Stars to the ...
