Delivery : It was taken 6 days to deliver this book, even though it was late but i have satisfied with flipkart delivery services.

If you are inclined towards Hadoop Tech, This is the best book to start with. Will help you to know pretty good internals about HDSF and Mapreduce. However other topics like Hive, Pig, Hbase etc are covered well but not in too depth. This book is good book indeed for Hadoop Beginners.

There are lot of blogs and documentation available for Hadoop but no source consolidates that knowledge and awareness into a logically organised body of knowledge. This book does it. It pretty much nails the coverage and coming from the folks at Cloudera is filled with practical inputs. Great book.

Best book for hadoop and covers ample topic to make one feel confident of the topic. Go for it!
