Written primarily in the settings of Darjeeling mountainous region and Jalpaiguri district, It vividly depicts the scenery of dales and hills and also the Tea Garden. The characters of the novel are very lively, particularly that of Deblina and Sandhya, the enchanting, bold and dashing females of Bhadi tribe. The language is lucid and fluent. It is a worth reading novel.
