Half Girlfriend is full entertainment, would be the first day first show report of the movie based on it. You have seen Chetan Bhagat's books converted to movies but this time it seems screenplay first, before being transformed into a book.

Got a copy of Half Girlfriend on the day of its release, that too in Bhubaneswar. Thanx a lot to Flipkart for that. On the flipside didn't get an Author signed copy as expected. Exciting story to read. Finished the book within 4 hours. Good work Mr. Bhagat to have taken us to the interiors of of the country and shown us that good love stories can be in small towns and rural places as against the so called urbane romances that one gets to read every now and then. Could visualise the book while...

Again a realistic, good story from the author....it has a bit of movie effect too.....but overall quite a good book....at least I liked reading it....a bit of inspiration for those who don't speak good English, but can try and try and succeed. Again thanks flipkart for your best delivery.

I enjoyed reading every single word in this book, the way the story is narrated, the feeling & every single thing about the lead character but Whatsapp was founded in 2009 & had no existence on 11 June 2008 (page no. - 202) :)

A great book & a must read.

Book divided into three acts - Delhi,Bihar and New York respectively. The Delhi act is okay, it is interesting at start but it becomes predictable later on. The Bihar part, I found is the best part of the book. It picks up in the middle with a whole new twist and ends up with a whole new twist again! The new york part is just like any other bollywood love movie ending. Pretty much predictable but you would like it if you love bollywood .

It is one of the finest novel out there. Chetan Bhagat is a gifted writer and he keeps his worth on this one too. This novel is a bit predictable but still has its moments. Writing is simple and constant. Just loved the way it ends!
You gotta read it to understand the feeling behind it!

The book goes on with Madhav meeting Riya. An eventual friendship . the girl's resistance over him . As a hero role he had faults to . At the middle she goes missing from the topic . He starts working in school same as in Revolution 20-20 Gopal does. after some time he starts to find her in London . He gets her . Then lastly they marry and have a son.

# Half Girlfriend As usual Chetan Bhagat has hit the bull's eye.Quite an interesting read for 300 pages. If you are loyal fan of his books and if you have read the acknowledgments right from every book, you will surely know he always thanked Bill Gates. So if you are reading this book, i suggest you to read acknowledgements too. Somewhere down in the middle you will know why.
