The love story has no originality.i have completed it in 1 day but like a movie not a novel.some scenarios are good and some are worst.

i had completed the whole book. if you are newly trying chetan books, you feel amazing while going through the book but if you had already gone through previous books of chetan, then you feel good at that time of reading. finally very good book and nice love story between Madhav and Riya with somany twists. liked it........

The motive and agenda of the book was shown quite good in the book.

It was not the best from CB but still Riya and Madhav will hook you till the last as it is a love tale which

you will relate too some or the other part

Chetan Bhagat has debited all his talent into creating sensational bollywood movie....his narration has not changed a bit and his storytelling and audience gripping is unaltered unlike M.night Shyamalan.
Half girl Friend is a one time Travelling companion, I liked the characters and storyline.

As i m a romantic guy , hence i really liked the story ,, but it was not inspiring as CB's other books , but still good work from CB.

I just read Half Girlfriend book. In the Preface of the book Chetan Bhagat (author) wrote his motives of writing over 10 years have changed, that in the beginning he used write to make it and to prove a point. But now he said he writes because he wanted to have positive intentions and a direction in life. After reading the book I understood what he really meant. Over the 10 years of span changed his style of writing a lot.

This is a pure movie story. But i liked the efforts made by main hero called Madhav in this story to get his lost beloved. However, i feel, in reality these things are not possible. Like getting Visa or Work permit for USA and then a non-graduate girl getting job in a Company like Nestle.
Despite some unrealistic events, it would be a good hindi movie story. Worth reading once by younger lot.

There has been cinsiderable improvement in tte contebt and theme of writing of Chetan Bhagat. This nivel was one of the good reads of 2014 and he has made a good portrait of commited relationship along with a good plot and raising the issues which are consistebt with fact that Chetan niw wishes to write for change. Hope Chetan comes up with more quality and inspiring novels in future too. Nd the fight of Madhav to earn his love is reaaly adnirable.

Liked it, he has nice style of putting down thoughts on paper - keep it up! I've not read all his books, but the ones i read i liked them all. He typically writes with the theme as a bollywood movie, and nice simple english - can be grasped easily by anyone.
