Developed and published by Microsoft Game Studios, Halo 2, the sequel of Halo, is a single-player action-adventure fantasy game for the PC that has received a PEGI rating of 16.

Taking place after the events of the novel Halo: First Strike, Halo 2 shows the state of affairs among the aliens after they lose their sacred planet Halo. After the destruction of the aliens’ revered planet at the hands of a team of human warriors, the Covenant invades planet Earth seeking revenge and its obliteration. However, Master Chief, a superpowered human and his AI comrade manage to fend off the alien foe and set out in strong pursuit of a powerful alien who is higher up in the ranks of the Covenant, a syndicate of alien races. They soon discover that there is another Halo installation which poses a threat like never before. The efforts and expertise of the brave Master Chief are required again in order to put an end to the Covenant once and for all.

The gameplay of this first-person shooter sees the players using a combination of alien and human vehicles and weaponry so as to progress through the levels of the game. The players are equipped with a damage-absorbing shield that regains its vitality when not being fired upon. The health bar of the player is not visible, however, this just makes the game more realistic. This game features a campaign mode that can be played as a single-player or even on multiplayer mode. All of the levels in campaign mode alternate between Master Chief and Covenant elite, the Arbitar.
