I was very eager to read this book since a few weeks, and finally finished reading it today. It was a wonderful read. The book is a nice combination of the story of how Mumbai's suburban railway was established, and the history of Mumbai. The book is successful in taking you back in time. It gave me good insights of how Mumbai used to be in that era.

It is indeed a very excellent book with lots of information about Indian Railways. Till now wasnt aware about how Mumbai Railways was formed. Though I knew Railway in India started from Mumbai.
