About The Authors

V. S. Gupta is a well-known author and educator from India. Gupta has served as a professor at Haryana Agricultural University. Through his tenure at the university, Gupta played a key role in conducting many workshops on mass communication and journalism. He has also won numerous awards for his immense contribution to the field of journalism and mass communication. He currently serves as the representative for India at the Asian Media Information And Communication Center (AMIC), Singapore.

The co-author of this book, Vir Bala Aggarwal, is also a renowned educator and researcher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in technology, majoring in the subject, Printing Technology. She also holds a doctoral degree, and completed a dissertation on the role of mass media in development. Through the course of her career, Aggarwal has written a number of articles on media issues, presenting it via journals and seminars. She currently holds the position of the chairperson of the Department of Journalism And Mass Communication, at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
