About the Authors

Ralph Lazar is a writer, illustrator, and artist. Partnering with his wife, Lisa Swerling, they are best-known for creating Harold's Planet, Vimrod and The Brainwaves. Ralph was born in Johannesburg and has degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Cape Town. He also holds a degree in Economics from The London School of Economics.

Lisa Swerling is an artist and illustrator. Lisa and Ralph have been honored with several awards including The Washington Post Book of the Week and The US Parents' Choice Award.
