Mixed bag
I bought this one after quite a lot of research. My requirements were for a budget headphone within/around 800. Am using this for past 1 month pretty extensively (about 3-4 hours per day).
Pro:
1. Decent sound quality.
2. acceptable amount of chord provided.
3. nice styling. looks really cool.
con:
1. my ears heat up after around 15-20 min of usage.
2. the earpads are pretty hard. they hurt. may be my ears are faulty, but i had used senheisser HD 180... and it never happned.

Good Built Quality, Fair Durability, Excellent Sound. I w'd recommend Sony MDR G45LP over any other ' behind the ear ' earphone on this price range. intitally sound was not upto the mark but after the burnout period .. it roxxx...
bass is just awesome...
mids are perfect
lows are near perfect
highs are good
but have to press the headphones on the ear to get the best of the bass...
coz fitting is loose and thatz what makes it incredibly confortable...
if u plan on using it wid ur cell phone while driving... jus rembr it has got no vol, play/pause, prev, next buttons on it so u wud have to spend some time making a playlist..

Better buy philips SHS 390
I have both this and Philips SHS 390. Using it with my laptop and Samsung Galaxy S2 mobile. Philips is better in every way, be it details, bass, comfort, wire length, volume level at HALF THE PRICE !. Only place where Sony is bit better is build quality and not very much at that. BETTER BUY PHILIPS SHS 390. I bought it as I thought Sony may be better:(

First, hats off to flipkart!! I recieved this within 36 hours of ordering. Fantastic service...
Now, coming to the neckphones( thats what i like to call them) these have pretty decent sound quality for the price. I will review them in direct comparision to a similar product i happened to own earlier ie. Philips SHS390.
Comfortability -> both are equally light but the philips felt better to me when wearing for long periods

you wont even miss a beat
everything is balanced and bass is gud
wire is small (which i love as it doestn tangle--->tis is very very important pros bcz i literally cry everytime to untangle senheiser headphone whos wire goes to 2 kilo meters :D )

plastic seems fragile
noy comfy lying on bed while wearing it

3. Bass and Equalizer is good, tested on every setting of Equalizer and you can feel the change instantly i.e. Sony is always been great on their sound technology

Bass lovers! Buy this
I just got this brilliant head phone today. And I got to admit, a product of Sony hardly Disappoints.Crystal clear sound, bass at best, Very comfortable and light weight! And the design makes it look classy as well. I recommend all bass lovers to go for this at such a miser price :)
