1GHz Processor, ARM Cortex-A8, High Performance low power CPU and android lovely combination I've purchased HCL ME X1 recently. Here are my few observations on the product's features & performance. 1. Battery life is very less, apprx 2.5 - 3 hrs (working on wifi applications) 2. Display is not that impressive, specially for gaming and internet viewing 3. CHEAP PRODUCT WHICH IS O.K
BATTERY LIFE IS VERY POOR.
WORKS WITH BSNL 3G DATA CARD.
SPECS ARE GOOD FOR THIS PRICE RANGE. 1 G.HZ PROCESSOR, EXPANDABLE SD CARD SLOT UPTO 32 GB, SLIM DESIGN, GOOD SCREEN RESOLUTION, SUPPORTS 16 GB PEN DRIVE, ANDROID 2.3 O.S.
DOES NOT HAVE SIM SLOT, CANT MAKE PHONE CALLS WITH IT.
CAN BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH SMART PHONES WHICH ACT AS WI-FI HOT SPOT LIKE SAMSUNG GALAXY Y TO ACCESS THE INTERNET WITHOUT HAVING TO USE USB DONGLE.

Pros:
U get 1gz processor & captive touch screen.
Sleek Design
Cons:
instead of Android market , u get MeApp shortcut that goes to what HCL offers.
Camera is a bit low resoltuion.
No built in 3G

this isnt that great a tablet.
i thought it was be pretty good but HCL should stick to making budget laptops and thats it.
I dont know why everyone is trying to ape one another in this whole tablet game

Hi guys, ,it's a dirty product from hcl tech,because it doesn't have any battery back up,and it doesn't support Google play app,,hcl is cheating the people by these type of products.by producing these type of product hcl is losing its goodwill in public....
And I don't like to give a star to tis product.but it doesn't supporting my review.so I was given one star..

Buy a slate instead
If tou have a cunning neighbour,then you throw this on his head,
as it's heavy and useless.HCL made this just for the the sake of entering tablet market.wifi is the worst I've ever seen.camera sucksss...no skype...nd worst part is that it doesn't have playstore or android market and the TOUCH interference is worse than 1000rupee china phone...you have heard about tech.replacing paper and even i would'nt mind cleaning my ass with this so called tab...Iactually wanted to give it a -5 star but t...

Pros: Low cost tablet.
cons:Doesnt have any Google applications including markets,if you are looking for using Google apps dont buy it. Heavy and bulky,display resolution is not good.Only front camera with bad quality.Wi-Fi is not good.etc etc.

low budget android tablet
for all those people who have been ranting on and on about how bad the Hcl tablet is i would like to totally disagree. firstly its a steal for that price. It might not be as brilliant as ipad or samsung tab. but at its throw away price its a steal.i am quite happy with the hcl tablet and flipkart rocks

got this in the month of dec 2012 battery back is not good and the adapter stopped working after two months, dont know does the adapter has the warranty or not. its also a heavy one cant hold it for long
