Everybody knows about Head First series. Hence the content will be as usual amazing whatsoever.
But the book is not original. It has been carefully reprinted, binded & made to look like the original copy.

This book is good for a beginner. But if you're an intermediate or advanced level developer, then you wont find much in this book.
HTML 5 has some spectacularly good features and new tag attributes that are not covered in this book. I find a whole lot of unnecessary "jazz".
If you'd like to actually learn HTML 5 then I recommend buying "HTML 5 - the missing manual" by Matthew MacDonald.

Best book to learn html5 completely,best out there.it will teach you cool api's and javascript as well.
But i am dissapinted becoz i was expecting web devlopment and designing technique from this book as it is based on HTML5 as well as CSS .i really nedded everything in this book

It is a good book for beginners. The book is well written and easy to read. You can read it like a story book yet understand the concepts. Head first books have a wonderful way of delivering content. It is this that makes the books much more interesting no matter how dry the subject may be.

If you are a beginner or a pro in html5, this book is for you. If you are a beginner you feel just amazing while reading this book. But if you are an expert, it may be slow while you read. Finally if you read this book once you will never forget the concepts. Good addition to Head First series :)

The paper back book delivered by the retailer is old and soiled.
Its better not to have a note that the book is soiled instead of showing new.
