THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL FOR STARTERS BUT......
there are not enough exercises and practice questions included which i missed really much
.the content is given in lucid language .and great for building concepts of java..GUI topic also has been covered rather quickly.plz add more practice questions in further editions

Best book i have ever seen... love it... one request to flipkart, please dont ever ship items with bluedart... they are actually dirt... very late in delivering the item... use professional couriers... thank you... flipkart is great in shipping and communicating than any other sites

A very very good book,totally worth the money.VERY GOOD for beginners to high level languages.The book teaches vivid concepts in a very good way.The problems are good for beginners but I fell the could have put in more problems

The 'Head First Java' is a very good book to learn java with fun.It makes you understand most of the technical things in simple manner.The most interesting fact about the book is that unlike any other programming books , it makes good use of graphics so that the thing is conveyed in utmost simple manner.

This s an awesome book for beginners who have some hands on experience in programming...but for those who need to explore more avoid this...It contains all the concepts explained in a lucid manner and even a lay man can understand.But only simple examples are given...It would have been more nice if they covered more examples in collection frameworks...On the whole go for this book if want to be strong on basics....this s not an encyclopedia like complete reference....
