The men of the Talukdar dynasty have always lived under the shadow of a dreaded curse that traces its roots to Company rule and a rebel soldier called Vidhu Raja. Novelist Sangram Talukdar has distanced himself from his family's bloody history and found a quiet place in the city to make a name for himself. But his peaceful life is shattered when he receives an anonymous threat - You Shall Suffer too. Prepare to Die. At first, he pays it no attention. But as he returns to his hometown, Sangram Talukdar discovers that the threat is real and something evil is lurking in the forests of Nimdeora, watching him at all times, waiting for an opportunity to strike. When he calls in detective Janardan Maity to investigate, Maity realizes that there is more to the threat than meets the eye. A chilling game of shadows and silhouettes begins-one in which it is impossible to tell the cat from the mouse.

The starting is pretty good....but as the story proceeds it becomes booring, you'll not find the thrill that it had in the beginning.....I basically don't prefer reading English Novels from Indian writers,if you really want something more of suspense then consider American or British Novels !!!
