Why is there a shipping charge for this item?

Sellers with Flipkart Assured waive off the delivery charge for Orders over Rs 500. For Orders under Rs 500, a nominal delivery charge is added per item.

Sellers without Flipkart Assured may or may not add a delivery charge to your Order. This is subject to Seller discretion.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

      • The Seller offering the product
      • Product's availability with the Seller
      • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and the Seller's location

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

      'In Stock'

Products‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

Products listed as ‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as 'Imported' on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.

      'Back In Stock Soon'

The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.

      'Temporarily Unavailable'

The product is currently out of stock and is not available for purchase. The product could to be in stock soon. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know when it is available for purchase.

      'Out of Print'

This product is not available because it is no longer published and has been permanently discontinued.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Enter your pincode on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your last used shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on:

      • Whether the Seller actually ships to your location
      • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
      • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

Heroes Of The Olympus: The Lost Hero is a fantasy adventure novel based on Roman and Greek mythology.

    Summary Of The Book

The first in a series of novels titled Heroes of The Olympus, the book was written in an attempt to unravel several untouched Roman and Greek myths.

Heroes Of The Olympus: The Lost Hero begins with Jason returning to consciousness on a school bus next to Piper, his girlfriend, and Leo, his best friend. Jason is suffering from memory loss and can’t recollect many things. As the trip proceeds, the trio and the coach are attacked by Dylan, a classmate who turns into a storm spirit. Jason, to everyone’s surprise, turns one of his coins into a sword and fights with it. The fight ends with Coach Hedge, actually a satyr, being taken captive by a spirit and a flying chariot arriving to pick the trio up. However, a classmate Annabeth is upset when she finds that her boyfriend, whom she had come looking for as directed by Goddess Hera, is not amongst them.

After returning to the camp, the trio discovers that they are all demigods and are assigned the task of rescuing Hera, who has been captured. During the operation, they meet several gods and Jason also meets his sister, who he had been separated from at the age of two.
The trio seek the help of their respective parents to rescue Hera. However, after the same, the King of Giants rises with Hera’s energy and disappears down under the earth when Hera attempts to kill him. Will Jason comprehend what these occurrences mean? Will he be able to overcome the memory loss he suffered initially? All these questions and more are answered in this book.

Heroes Of The Olympus: The Lost Hero received rare accolades and won the Barnes & Noble award for the best book in 2010 and also remained a bestseller for quite some time.

    Rick Riordan: Perfection Personified

After that torturous wait, Rick Riordan has affirmed his fans' belief that he is indeed "The Myth Master" with the fabulously epic The Mark of Athena.

Continuing where SoN left off, MoA gets off to a great start with Annabeth's PoV. The best thing about the book, other than the great Percabeth Reunion, intertwined plot-lines, a host of new villains and the thickening mystery, is that we finally get to see what's going inside our dear old Wise Girl's head. It is refreshing to see things from ...

I preordered this book a long time ago.Oh gods.I had been waiting for this book for a LONG time cuz the MOA cliffhanger just KILLED me.I mean,it was one of the sweetest but most heartbreaking moments.I had been reading fanfiction for the past few months to calm myself.
The first when i did when i got it was jump around, fangirl and squeal for a few moments, then run my fingers over Percabeth. Then I called my friends and told Ashwin(he had pre ordered before from some other s...

    Loved it!!!

I've been waiting for this book a long time. Now, finally, I get to read it. Flipkart's delivery was on time.

    ~~Spoiler alert~~
This book was absolutely mind blowing. There weren't as many laughs as in the other books but meeting the god of the abyss TARTARUS, man that was something. It covers up some of the loose ends of the previous books. Overall, I would say it's the best book of the series. Keep up the good work Rick Riordan. We love you.

    Totally worth it!

First of all, thanks to Flipkart for being amazing!

    “To my wonderful readers:
    Sorry about that last cliffhanger.
    Well, no, not really. HAHAHAHA.
But , seriously, I love you guys.”
So, Rick must have a serious death wish if that’s his dedication.
I had to wait a slow, painful year to finally get my hands on HoH. So, I rip open the plastic with this mad glint in my eye and take in the wonderful sight. I caress the book and the very sight of the beautiful red torture instrumen...

The book is awesome really - better than all three books. All demigods show their talents through several occasions while Percy and Annabeth wander the deadly realm of Tartarus. Since no one can give a perfect description for tartarus, i would say riordan has done an excellent job imagining it as horrible as possible. Spoiler alert: The starting chapters itself are awesome when Hazel meets hecate who warns that she would meet a formidable enemy in the house of hades. hazel discovers her talen...

Fun to read, a definite page turner

Mythomagical world of Camp Half-Blood see the beginning of the next Great prophecy, the one cited by Rachel(The Oracle)in The Last Olympian.
I won't talk 'bout the plot as most of it is already there and adding anything would be a spoiler.

As far as the writing style is concerned, its a little matured if compared to the former books. The humor is developed and makes you smile even when the situation is dangerous, I mean deadly dangerous.

However what appears as a great improvement is the em...

    Too many loose ends

I wanted more. I wanted a Percy POV.
I wanted Hazels curse to be resolved. i wanted the fights to be longer. I wanted more Solangelo. I wanted the final fight with Gaea to be EPIC.
    Jokes were amazing as usual.
But i cant shake the feeling that Uncle Rick wrote the book under pressure of finishing it on time.
Its the last ever HoO book, so it should have been MUCH better.

    Fantastic but frustrating

Es usual, the delivery was precisely on time and packing was amazing. Excellent paper quality and spotless cover. But the book itself was disappointing. The ending was too abrupt and not worth waiting a whole year. It is basically a bridge between The Mark of Athena and the Blood of Olympus. I just can't wait for THAT book to release, but we have another year to wait. I think it is best to wait for the next book and then buy them both together.
