The hexbug spider is very good and a fun toy to play with. I have seen in other reviews that it
drains a lot of battery.so buying batteries would be expensive. It is a good alternative to RC cars, helicopters etc... Overall it is a good toy. If you think this is too expensive,you can try the hexbug inchworm too.

I got this product for around Rs. 900 and it was delivered to me within one day.
It's an amazing desk toy for people of all age groups. The Hexbug spider fits on your palm and the remote too is very small and convenient to use.
The movement is pretty amazing and quick. It makes a lot of noise when it moves. The rotating head with a tiny LED is really amazing. Looks like one of those terminator machines.

This is super sexy. I love walking this in my office.

The range of the remote control is kinda low. To save the battery or something, the bug stops working after a while of inactivity. you have to reset the switch to make it work again. Can't walk on carpet, but walks sexyly on any smooth surface.

hexbug spider is the second RC model from innovation first. it is tiny enough to fit in your hand, it is 6-legged, it can move in all directions which guided by its 360 degree rotating head. it is 2 channeled. it is product which someone should gift his kid on his birthday. what makes the spider special is its translucent body shell. kids will love to see the mechanism of the toy. it is very elegant and creepy looking. if you have a pet, you can use the spider to freak out it.

I brought it from flipkart only and I was excited to use it, the 1st day was great but from the next few days it bored me very much and now is the condition that it battery is about to over and it now works like a bone-shaker simply wriggling and trembling. I prefer to by Hexbug Larva and Nano more because by my experience larva and nano are great!!!!!!

Now for the Hexbug-

1. Movement is great. Head moves separately and thus direction changes quickly and very smoothly.
2. Range is poor - 3 - 4 feet
3. It does not clamber on any object except may be couple of stacked papers. Not even a thin book.
4. Novelty value wears of really quickly.
5. Its frustrating when it doesn't do much besides moving 3 feet in great fluid movement.
6. Rather buy a toy vehicle that climbs ...
