I bought this for my father & features i was looking for were 1.Lightweight 2.Well built 3.Comfortable 4.Close to flat sole with good grip & these have met all those requirements.Before buying this for Rs.1883 i considered buying addidas,puma,reebok in this range but they all seem flimsy with poor finish and didn't seem they would tolerate abuse as well.
If you can get these for 1500 ish or less grab these.

Don't order the size you wear. Buy one size UP. I've read about this product on Amazon (USA) and this is what I learnt from reviewers. Many BIGGER names will drove your attention towards them when you're shopping in the sub-2k segment, but I can assure you Hi-Tec (Pretty popular in USA) provides better quality for the price. Comfortable, snug sandals. Comfortable and good looking. Much tougher than similarly priced big names. Note that real leather is not used; only imitation leather -- which is good because you then do not have to worry about it getting wet.

Slightly larger size fits well. Good material, fits well. Good grip and comfortable. Only issue was that there are some protrusions on the inside where the inner lining is stitched to the uppers. These are rough and cause abrasion points. Probably the stitching is also accompanied with glue which causes these small protrusions. may be an issue if worn for long walks. paying around 1700/- you expect better!
