This remedy is indicated in headaches that are dependent upon cerebral congestion. In cases of epilepsy, laryngeal and pharyngeal irritation, and catarrh with a deep, spasmodic cough that is very severe. In acute attacks of chronic bronchitis, when there is rattling in the chest, with difficult and painful expectoration. It is of service in cases of pharyngitis, when there is burning of the parts and thick, white, frothy, or stringy mucus. Indicated in chronic laryngeal and pharyngeal catarrh, neuralgic headaches, and obesity. Constrictive pain in the head, chest, legs, etc. Irritable feeling under fingernails; relieved only by biting them.
