Santhini Govindan is an award winning author of children’s literature with more than 50 published books. She has received two National Fellowships from the Government of India for research projects connected to Children’s Literature. She writes widely for children’s magazines in India and overseas. Her work is extensively taught in school across India, and has been translated into many Indian languages. She has taught creative writing in school across India, and at the undergraduate level at Mumbai University.
