About Satyajit Ray

Satyajit Ray was an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter and short-story writer. Noted as one of the finest auteurs in world cinema, he is best remembered for his feature-length films, including Pather Panchali, Aparajito, Apur Sansar, Devi and Charulata. He was honoured with several awards for his work, including an Academy Award and the Bharat Ratna. His literary works include his Feluda stories, for which he is best remembered in literary circles.
