In Indian literature, Ram's story on the life of Ram has been very popular in many languages by the name of "Ramayana". Geet Ramayana, composed by Marathi's famous poet G.D. Madgulkar, is also in the same series and is very famous. Its Hindi The translation in the language was done by Mr. Dattaprasad Jog, a prominent litterateur from Goa. This Hindi song Ramayana is also being sung by famous singers of Goa in many programs! Now its new edition has been brought out by Rigi Publications. It is notable that the original, like the author Mr. Dattaprasad is also a Marathi poet, this Hindi translated work done by him is an example of excellent translation. Mr. Jog's translation is exactly the same as the original. Even its singing level is similar in lyricism and rhythm to Sudhir Phadke's music composition. I believe that this version of Shree Jog has the potential to become as popular in Hindi light music as it is in Marathi light music.
