Summary of the Book

Jack Harmon finds a cell phone on the school bus. As soon as he raises the phone to his ear he hears a girl’s voice. This creepy voice seems to know Jack very well and wants to be his new friend. Jack brushes it off as a practical joke and tries to end the call. He turns the phone off, but the girl’s voice won’t go away. A puzzled, confused and scared Jack has no other option but to obey her every wish. She appears in all kinds of electronic devices and he is unable to escape her. She begins to force him to do dangerous things like stealing a laptop from school. Will Jack be able to outwit the voice?
