Sachidananda Hirananda Vatsyayan "Agyeya" Satchidananda Hirananda Vatsyayan "The Agnostic" Sachchidanand Hiranand Vatsyayan "Agyey" (March 7, 1911-April 4, 1987) was a poet, storyteller, fine-essayist, editor and successful teacher. He was born in Kushinagar in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Spent childhood in Lucknow, Kashmir, Bihar and Madras. Early education-Initiation took place at home under the supervision of the father with the study of Sanskrit, Persian, English and Bangla language and literature. B.Sc. By doing M.A. in English While doing this he joined the revolutionary movement. From 1930 to 1936 he was imprisoned in various jails. You were also associated with letters and magazines. In 1964, he received the Bharatiya Jnanpith Award for Sahitya Akademi at the door across the courtyard and in 1978 for Kitni Naav Mein Kitni Bar. Your story collections: Vipathaga 1937, Parampara 1944, Kothari Ki Baat 1945, Refugee 1948, Jaidol 1951 and you also wrote novels, travelogues, essay collections, criticism, memoirs, diaries, thought prose and plays.

Any account of the contribution of a multi-talented writer presents the first problem that it seems difficult to decide in which part of his work his creative talent has flourished the most. If there is a writer like Agnya who attacks a little from some dimensions of his personality, then instead of creative contribution, there is a danger of talking about personal insistence and prejudice. Planning Tar-Saptaks and placing selected compositions of generations of poets in front of the readers with detailed introduction, was the historical work of Agyeya for Hindi poetry. Agyeya was not only a multi-talented artist, his life was also a multi-faceted activity. Military life gave him the opportunity to visit such areas of India which were inaccessible to other writers of that time. There is no other example like Agyey of enriching fiction with the experiences of military life. A compilation of 70 stories of Agyeyaji was presented in this book.
