He has vast experience in the field of silicon technology. He was also a co-inventer of T-RAM, a type of computer memory. Along with Plummer, Michael D. Deal and Peter B. Griffin have also co-authored the Silicon VLSI Technology: Fundamentals, Practice and Modeling (Prentice Hall Electronics and VLSI Series).
