Born in 1987 to the once imperial Gupta dynasty, Jyoti is more commonly known in her friend circle as “Jo”. She is the wife of a super caring and supportive husband, Sushanta Karan, and the mother of a cute baby boy. Jo has been an avid reader and loves poetry. Her family conditions forced her to start working at an early age. Even though she was depressed about her early life choices, she did not give up ever since. She has worked in every possible domain, from customer service to technical support, and has an overall work experience of 18 years. Jo is fond of dancing, singing, painting and pranking her friends. She loves to party till the early hours and makes sure that everyone is awake to enjoy with her. Apart from short stories, she also loves to write sonnets, free verse and couplets. She has an extensive collection of horror stories and fairy tales stored in her memory, making her an instant favourite amongst kids.
