Spring Persistence With Hibernate is a book written specifically for developers who want to explore the possibilities of using persistence on a JAVA platform.

    Summary of The Book

Spring Persistence With Hibernate is a guide to Persistence systems and their use on JAVA platforms. Persistence is essentially a set of methods and means developed specifically for manipulating data and ensuring the mobility of that data. As far as JAVA is concerned, persistence is required for any kind of online transaction such as e-commerce or an enterprise.

Spring Framework is an innovative solution for JAVA developers in many areas. It introduces readers to the concepts of Spring Framework 3. This leads to a study on how to integrate persistence functionality, with the use of Hibernate into many kinds of JAVA applications.
The book covers the fundamentals of hibernate and how it can be used. It explains how to use and JPA 2 and GORM. In many respects, this book can be considered a ‘do-it-yourself’ kit, the working of spring framework, spring JDBC, hibernate, grails, GORM and JAVA spring MVC are all explained.

The great thing about this book is that it is excellent for a beginner, thanks to its simple style and clear descriptions and it is equally useful for professionals who need a quick reference guide to make sure they got it right, especially since Spring Persistence is one of the most popular JAVA solutions available today. The book also covers many advanced topics such as persistence architecture related topics and design patterns.
