I have read this book as part of my coursework and have read it twice again. Gandhi the author provides outstanding arguments for his vision towards achieving Home Rule.
Read this book and you will realize why following non-violence was the only way out for Indian Independence.
Read it and retrospect the ill effects violent methods would have brought to India.

Those who love India and Indian history must read this book. The thoughts of great legend Mahatma Gandhi are great. He is really a great man with greater thoughts.

Most of us know "Swaraj" rather loosely as "independence". This books opens the door to a whole new vision of Gandhi. Readers would begin relating to *Swa-Raj* - the unbiased and unbridled *rule* of the individual over his/her-self. This book is *deeply spiritual* in its outreach.

Good book. But there is no bookmark...

Gandhiji wrote this in 1909. His thoughts evolved with time. In later years, he contradicts with the ideas he wrote in this book.
