Worth the money
I m writing this review after using this cooler for one week. Where I live, the daily temperature in daytime remains between 40 to 43.
So, according to my experience, this cooler is just perfect for my room. It gives cool n soothing air, with not very loud amount of noise. I can sleep very comfortably without bothering whats the temperature outside is.

Decent one .. but could be cheaper
I got a 85L. I had no much idea of the size and I felt it was little oversized.for my room .. a 55L may be was fine. I use this in humid area so cant comment on cooling aspect as there wasn't much effect due to water. With Ice + water it is tad better.

I'm writing this review after using the cooler for a month. Cooler was delivered within stipulated time in nice packing condition. For my 2 BHK house the desert cooler seems to be big. Cooling is good when it kept near well ventilated window or door. Ice chamber is really works in hot condition. But don't expect it work like AC. For dry weather it works really well. The oscillator works really good and throw air a good distance. I m annoy with only two things:

Best in the market!
Have been using last 55 days. It is serving good at cities like Warangal where temperature is very high in the summer. It's cooling system good. It has low, medium, high - three different modes. Most of the time low speed is sufficient for one person use.
I have used symphony air cooler in the past for 4 years. On comparison, this hindware snowcast 85 Lt air cooler performs better. Also, it has a lower price w.r.t. Symphony. Hence, I highly recommend it.

Really Nice
In the 1st 10 days of use I m almost satisfied with this product . Build quality is good , Air throw is superb , It covers a large area . it's swing covers full 180 degree area. .In the whole it's a good package .

Great cooler, much better than symphony and other brand which are just fancy. desert coolers are always better when it comes to cooling and so is this one. sufficient for large rooms too . you can feel the cool wind at 15 feet too.

Terrific purchase
The cooler was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The units works perfectly, the wheels are easy to clamp on and the body is quite light.
The air flow seems perfect for a large room and Swing function works well.

Not as good as even a local desert air cooler
CONS: Consumes a lot of power (this is my initial feeling after using it for a week or so); the fan speed dial is awkwardly designed. When you switch on the fan, you'll end up starting it with High speed, then Medium and last is the Low which makes you to turn the dial 6 times every time it is switched on / off. First time using the honeycomb cooling pads, I am a bit skeptical about their longevity as they can be easily torn. Water level indicator tells you once it is just less than half ...

A:Definitely you can. But what's the point? Do you mean ice and salt? Which makes sense bcz you can reach temperature of - 23C. More salt will crystallize on the water lines and could create problem.
