I have been using Daikin Ac which has the energy consumption of 940 which is a 4 star rated, and would say i didn't see my current bill above 700 rupees in any season till now. Considering the same i thought the Hitachi as well should work the same by seeing the 4 star and 940 energy consumption specs. Today I received the current bill, and I was shocked with the number of units consumed in one month its 369... and the current bill is 2380 rupees. Seriously... !!!

Pretty good
Overall it’s a good product but look wise it’s not upto the mark. It has no lcd panel for showing temperature.
Cooling is good and it’s 4-star so energy efficient too. It cools the room in about 2 minutes and blow of air through fan is also good. Worth to buy it.

pro:after using this ac for about 15 days, I am very happy with the performance.
as known, Hitachi is best at its faster cooling, this product fulfills the purpose.
cons :
no temperature display in inner unit(this is Hitachi's default design for all products, temperature is visible in remote)
remote is too basic, could have been provided with more options (ofcourse all the settings are automated in inner unit itself)

Nice value for money ac... Since it's a basic ac model not much in feature but easily does it job of cooling and comfortable environment. Even at 30 degree c its very effective... Have to check its performance for another 3 months of summer.... Installation done arranged by jeevas took 3370 bucks slightly on higher side but job well done... Even some irritating sound was coming from ac but they resolve it with some effort...

The product is just amazing, cools the room in 10 minutes, make room cold like Switzerland.
I bought two same AC's, in my room we use it full 8-10 hours in Auto mode(this is important as compressor is not on for all 8 hours) and in other room the AC is used for about 4 hours, we got a bill of Rs 1500 for the month of April & May, so 4 star rating surely reduces energy consumption.

It is nice product by hitachi but after 15 days of use it is not working properly and not cooling well so i have called to hitachi customer care and after verification they told me that compressor gas is low so please look and check the product before use.

Great Product...Got the delivery in time. Packaging was excellent. Installation was swift and professional. Get the installation done from Hitachi, they charge only Rs.499 and they did a great job for me.

Wonderful
Well it has got a dehumidification feature, which is absent in other brands of the same price. It does not have a temperature display on the AC unit. Build quality is a little below average. But it works well for a room of 100 sq feet.

Q:please advise how to confirm that RSN417HCEA is having copper coil and condenser? from the outdoor unit it looks like Aluminum or alloy coils.. can you plz reconfirm.
A:It can never be an aluminium coil...but at the same time it cannot be an alloy coil. To confirm test the AC for a week at different modes ... Now if nothing gets damaged then it is surely copper coil.

Q:Does it come with pipe and wire or it is chargeable
A:The indoor unit box contains copper pipe of reasonable length (should usually suffice) and electric cable of a relatively short length (about a metre if I remember correctly).
