I liked all the three novels written by you in particular Maheshweta. I liked the plot and story in House of Cards.
I hope someday there will be a sequel as well.
I particularly liked what Mridula's father tells her about sharing and being open.
A must read for all of us who love the books penned by Mrs Sudha Murty.

Sudha murthy has created magic in this book. i am a fan of sudha murthy's work. and love the way she portrays life in a very simple manner. the characters are little dreamy, yet we can easily connected. Recenty I have started reading Ms. Sudha Murthy's book. I have started with Mahaswetha.Then "The day I stopped drinking Milk, The Mother I never knew and now House of Cards. The language is very simple. Easy to follow. Day to day life happenings. Father-daugther, Father-son, Hushand-wife, Mother-son, Wife-Sister-in-law, with friends and relatives. really a variety of relationships (bunch of cards). Each character remains in mind. House of cards by Sudha Murti is a review of the changing role of woman in the society and at home. She brings up the issue of changing moral values in Indian system in the present context. I appreciate the simplicity with which she conveys the message that position of woman at home has changed and has to be accepted by spouse as well as children. A good read.
