He is the chief editor for \'Shastrabodh\' a project periodicals. He is the founder and trustee of \'Shastravahini\', an organisation which works for the developing and creating awareness about science & technical skills. For \'Vimane Udwa-Yuddhachi\', Madhav Khare has recieved the National Award from NCERT. He has also received the state governments awards for his books- \'Vimanachya Vishwat\', \'Kagdachi Karamat\'. His science related articles and series have been published in many newspapers and magazines. Through NCRTC, Khare has conducted many workshops in over 13 states of India.
