The specs are very good, and pre-installed windows 10 meant that I could use it straight out of the box! Speed is very good, the quadcore is hardly stressed. However, I am deducting one star for the following cons.
* Preinstalled McAfee antivirus had less than one month of validity left.
* The brushed diamond cut exterior is a big fingerprint magnet- requires frequent cleaning.
* Just after system boots up, the RAM usage is already at ~ 45% . Open a few apps and a hand full of browser windows...

Does not have MS Office pre-installed but WPS Office 10 is a satisfying alternative from HP.
AMD processor is cheaper and does fine as compared to intel's.
Windows 10 product key is not mentioned anywhere on the notebook or the box that it was delivered in, well it is not necessary to know the key but would be better if the product key or certificate of authorization were included in the delivery.
