1. Intel i3 4th gen processor .... a big plus
2. 500 GB HDD and 4GB RAM
3. the screen is pretty decent ... and this lappy weighs only 2.3 kg
4. Supports win 7 , win 8 and Linux


Cons
1. In case you have installed windows ( 7 or 8 or 8.1 ) ... you have to manualy download the drivers for LAN and WiFi ..... which one can easily do

I purchased on 31may,2014.It came up with DOS.
Woks good in Windows 7 and 8 64bit.
Customer support of HP is too good.
Drivers are available in HP site recently uploaded!

I bought this laptop in july at just 25k.
As mentioned in the discription it comes with a i3(4th gen) which we will not get in this price range.
And it has 4gb ram,500gb hdd.
It comes with no os(DOS preinstalled )
But you can install any os of your choice.
I saw some reviews saying that it doesnt support win7,i think they dont know how to install it.
I had installed windows 8.1 and then ubuntu 13.10 without any problems.
And it works fine.you have to download the drivers for windows(abt 500mb...

In the above comments , some body was mentioned that it does not support windows 7 and xp. It is absolutely wrong, It supports windows 7. i have successfully installed it and using since one month.

I have been using it for almost a month now. Great value for money. The laptop came with free dos. However, installing Ubuntu 14.04 was a breeze and soon I was up and running. Everything worked out of the box...wifi, function keys etc. Well almost. Bluetooth not working. I have seen some workarounds on the Internet but I dont need the feature so badly, so currently doing without it. Battery life is a good 4 to 5 hours depending on the kind of work you are doing.

I purchased on 2nd Aug,2014.It came up with DOS. i got this @27990 on limited offer.

But its important to know my friends that, It woks very good & 100% works in Windows 8.1 64 bit. because all driver like lan, sound, card reader, wifi, bluetooth are not supported with windows 7 or 7.1 os.so windows 8 and above must.

after i install 8.1 , and its awesome and good battery backup i tested.

8.1 Drivers are available in HP site.

Well I got it from other online retail at 24400. Flippy might have kept it's price higher in order to sell compaq. Well the market price is still less so I am reviewing on that scale.
PROS:
1. Looks are good and it has a sturdy base
2. Heating is minimal and so is sound
3. Build quality is really good
4. Does its job of daily routines
5. The best thing I liked in it is its battery life which gives me 4hrs of juice after full charge even when I played music, surfed internet, installed programs...

It is just an awesome product from hp... I am running windows 8.1 on it and it works just seamlessly....Its performance is very good.. It has 4 gb ram which contributes the most.....

The Best thing about this is its battery backup.
pros:
1. battery backup is around 4.5hrs in normal uses.
2. Ci3 4th Generation only for 26749 rupees By HP (a big brand name).
3. doesn't heat much after using continuously for 10 hrs.
4. Much slim as compared to previous models.
