HP 430
I purchased this laptop almost a month back. It is a beauty.. With quadcore processor, each with 2.1GHz processing speed, and 2GB RAm, I am really happy with the product. Since my OS is Linux, Ubuntu 12.04(presently loaded) or fedora, i do not need al that RAM and speeed. Still this laptop will be with me for the next 5 - 6 years as I am sure that by then Ubuntu and other Linux would have become more optimised and would need just half of memory and speed for working..

Good in Performance but don't go by the look
I use this laptop which is given to me from the Company for the official use. Till now there is no performance issue at all. Despite of hardcore use, it has not slagged at all in the performance front. However the material (external coating etc) is of very cheap quality. The coating comes out in just 1 week of use. awesome performance
i used this laptop for 4years and never had any performance or heating issues also i used to not shut it down for 2 days straight still i never had any issue so if you want to buy a laptop for the performance only and not for looks this is a perfect cost effective product.

external paint wearing off
I could bet the external paint that they are using is of cheap quality, must contain lead and is potentially carcinogenic. No other laptop i have come across seems to face this issue of the external gloss wearing off as this one.

worst laptop i ever seen
this laptop is really from HP ,i bought hp note 430 with i5 processor ,speed k but the silver color coating disappear after 3 month of usage ,now its look like ancient laptop ,i hate using of that laptop

Generates lot of heat with in few minutes
This model generates lot of heat within 10-15 mins usage, which may damage other components. Even after using laptop table with fans will not help you much if you are going to use it for 3-5 hrs a day. And apart from that poor external coating, and the plastic of the outer side of the display is of below standard. So check thrice before buying this product. I had this heat problem from the day 1. Display is also very normal compared to the other laptop display systems.

Bad build quality
This product has a major disadvantage - the grey coating on the back of the screen(top when closed) and on the touch pad will easily be removed. Its seems like some cheap paint they have used for it. Im using this laptop for last 9 months.. now it has become very bad to see.
