its work well my hp laptop (vista).one usb provided enough power, so no needed two usb slots engaged with one peripheral. BEST AND POWERFULL LEASER HEAD
I have tow dvd writer one is hp and another is hp 8x.
Which cd shows in lg dvd wrirer corrupt a i can run that cd in hp with no problem.
Go for hp 8x dvd writer. No problem dvd writer.
