Great choice!
I bought this laptop about a month back (not from Flipkart, though). If you put aside all the cutting-edge processors (i3, i5, i7, and what not - and who needs that anyway?) I think this piece is GREAT value for money. The design is excellent, the battery impressive, and the keys are heavenly to the touch. Seriously, I couldn't find a single thing wrong with this one. Why buy Acer, HCL, or even Dell when you can get Compaq for such a sweet deal!

dont think that this is a low budget ot low configured laptop..its far better than core i3 and i5..having bluetooth 3.0..expandable memory upto 8gb..even i played games such as halo 2, modern wARFARE 2..IT PERFORMS WELL..and also dont expect much from this like an i7 lap..but better than i5..go 4 it..

I am a student and generally uses my lappy to play games like counter strike and also to run heavy graphic applications like matlab etc.and it doesn't hang in general but during using matlab it may hang after using for 2-3 hrs.
also the speakers are not much appreciable but u may get additional speakers externally so that should not be a problem.
It may be a c2d processer but since my friend has a dell inspiron of I3 processer it's very faster when compared to it.

i have purchased this product a year ago and not even single problem i have faced while using it is very much better than some of the i3 & i5 configurations available in the market for 35 to 40 k , Best laptop under 25k with all the configurations which i3 and i5 have

I have a counter experience, I had a compaque presario, and is working fine since 4 years. In the mean time for upgradation I purchased (wrong decision)Dell inspiron 1545. I found a nightmare since day 1. Wrong design, faulty keyboards, hanging multipletimes, cheap plastic for body parts, performance gets affected easily by external noise, battery life expired in one year and so many....decision may get defeated by luck factor toooooo

i got this laptop....suggest do notgo for it.
In fact do not ever buy any HP/Compaq laptop...they all have one common alilments and that is they hang after 3-4 hrs of continous working.

I have a Dell laptop as well.....and it has been absolute pleasure to be on DELL.
