Bought it for 23460...... Everything is good except battery backup, last only upto 2 hours...
Overall a good laptop on this price range

Dont bother about sound quality, sound is really good after updating sound driver 'Realtek audio'

To all those having issues with touchpad being not so precise, what you can do is just apply a mobile screen guard at the touchpad area. It will vastly improve the touchpad experience. The film will not even be visible after a bubble free application. Do not apply the film on the buttons.

My requirement for this laptop was pretty 'small' which was browsing and watching movies alone. This laptop can do both but that's about it. Anything significant (even opening more than 2-3 applications/browser) you will notice lot of lag as 2GB ram isn't adequate.
I have installed Win 10 and there are no issues. Earlier I had tried to install Win 7 but it failed due to legacy reasons.
For this price range, I couldn't find any other notebook with 500GB hdd and VGA port (as I wanted to connect...

Writing this after use of 5 years, HP brand is better than any other brand. If you want a basic level laptop to watch movies and Microsoft office, then this laptop is best. I needed to change battery after 4 years of use. Performance is still as good as the first day.
