I bought this one after my old laser printer, HP 1010 (after nearly 7 years), started giving problems.

I use it for printing text files mostly.

Print Quality-Decent. Letters not perfectly sharp (may be I am a little biased because my old one gave razor sharp prints)

Noise- Horrendous.

Time- It takes ages (~20 seconds) to print a full length page. And if you plan to print many together, do make sure you have pizza or a good book nearby.This was a big let down.

Cartidges- These get used ...

Got this product below the market price in Bangalore and delivered within 2 days. The shipment was perfectly fine included many layers of packing and original HP seals. The product is amazing, easy to setup and use. Whoever want a all-in-one printer in less cost, this one might be a great choice. Thanks Flipkart..

i have purchased this printer from the flipkart jst 3 days ago & it was delivered to me with in 36 hours..gr8 service by flipkart..
Really i am impressed with my HP 1050 deskjet..& towards those peoples who tells that it takes 30 seconds to print & no pdf support ,bla bla etc i will tell you that dont make stories over here..
** this printer printed a full a4 text page with in 5 seconds
** scanner is gr8.
** SUPPORTS PDF..it have been included in HP CD's software..

This product I have selected in Good but unfortunately HP is very close fisted with the life of Cartridge supplies, it only lasted me for 100 odd pages. I am very disappointed that company like HP is spoiling its reputation by supplying this small cartridge. It forces one to buy Rs. 983 worth of big cartridge within two days.
Please chase this with them otherwise Flipkart's reputation is also compromised.

After using this printer for a couple of months I'm overall quite satisfied with the product. This product is meant to be used at home. The scanning speed is satisfactory but rather slow when scanning photos at high resolution, it really takes quite a while to scan but it's good enough for scanning documents. I always wanted to have a colour printer & so this was my first buy.....I have now used it over a year...I have had no trouble with printing pdfs as some have said....Yes, it does take some time to print a page & I would not recommend this for an office with lot of heavy printing...... This printer can print all sorts of formats very easily. And the printing speed is also quite decent. Quality is good enough for home and office usages.
In short im totally satisfied after buying and testing this today.

Note: .pdf file can easily be printed with this printer just like other files.

those who says that it doesnt support pdf support are wrong. i have this printer and i have printed many pdf files. this is excellent printer and value for the money. go for it. if you expect fast colour print then this is not for you. go for other printers. colour printing is excellent but not fast.
