This laptop is a beast!
Awesome for heavy gaming and general use.
Just the thing that stops me from buying this beast is the screen! Its resolution should be 1080p at this price.
If you can increase your budget a lil bit then go for HP envy 15-k203tx same laptop but 5th gen i7 n a beautiful crisp n clear 1080p screen :)

It is a great product, having a great experience with it. Great gaming experience, an unmatched normal use experience, great buy and the best part shipment was available in Dehradun(which is not currently available). Design is quite awesome and build quality is great as expected from HP, but need to keep it carefully because even little marks make it dirty. Can recommend it to buy. Bought it and now I am happy from it and its experience and therefore would recommend it t buy!

Pros -
-> You can't get a better graphics card in this range. Runs all games smoothly in the highest settings. A major advantage is the non-full HD screen. the 850M graphics card will not provide best frame rates at full HD screen so you will have to lower the resolution which will look bad on a full HD screen. But since this is not 1080p, all games easily run in the highest settings with awesome framerates.

The Laptop is amazing for the price it comes in. Gives you the feel of gaming at enthusiast level. However you need to remove the bloatware that comes along with it.

Being an avid gamer I understand and use laptops. This is a good one. Sleek in terms of design and looks and powerful in performance. Few cons: no backup media provided, bad touchpad, loose battery slot.

i would suggest this laptop for gamers...i have a feeling it is better than alienware as it has better specs...must buy for gamers....go on buy it....

Have any one installed Ubuntu (12.04 or 14.04) in this Laptop. Please share your review.
